Lutheran Settlement House's children's division, Jane Addams Place, provides housing and other services for hundreds of youth in the Philadelphia area. Frisbee Friends partners with Jane Addams to connect high schoolers from suburban Philadelphia to these children through frisbee.
In 2009, CHOP's Homeless Health Initiative created Operation CHOICES to combat childhood obesity in homeless youth. Frisbee Friends works directly with Operation CHOICES staff to encourage physcial activity through the community-building sport of ultimate.
